About Me

I have been studying Computer Science at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah since August 2022. My major includes an emphasis in data science and minors in statistics and mathematics. Prior to my education at BYU, I received an AAS in Computer Science from Weber State University in April 2022. I have always strongly valued education and I am grateful for the educators in my life who have inspired and supported me.

I have held a variety of technical-related jobs since 2020, including my current position as a QA Engineer for the Office of Information Technology (OIT) at Brigham Young University, working as a research assistant in BYU's Internet Measurement and Anti-Abuse Laboratory, and holding software engineering, data visualization, and technical support responsibilities for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a full-time missionary.

Some of my other interests are running, hiking, photography, vinyl collecting (particularly downtempo and trip-hop) and keeping up with data blogs (my favorites right now include Nate Silver, Ryan Burge, and Alex Bass.)
